No. The game opens right in your browser, on a computer or a phone. There is a separate Android build, and the account is the same.

Is the game free?
Yes. Coins and pearls come from winning, and everything in the game is unlocked by playing it. There are no ads.
Do I need to register?
Not to play — an account is created for you on first launch. Linking an email is worth doing later: then the account opens on any device.
What happens to my progress if I change phones?
Rating, ships and coins live on our side, not on the device. With a linked email, signing in on a new phone brings everything back.
Can I play with a friend?
Yes — the Friends mode: find them by callsign, send an invite and play each other.
How is this different from the usual battleship game?
You do not call a square. You pull the ship back like a slingshot and the shell flies an arc with spread; a hit knocks out a specific section, not one hit point.
Who runs the battle — my phone or the server?
The server. It also keeps the enemy formation to itself: it never reaches your device, so there is nothing to peek at.
